Policies
Disciplinary Measures and Tenancy Duration
Any violation of hostel rules and regulations shall attract appropriate disciplinary action, which may include a warning, fine, suspension, or eviction, depending on the severity of the offence. Hostel Management reserves the right to take all necessary measures to maintain peace, order, and safety within the hostel premises.
Residents are required to vacate the hostel immediately upon the expiration of their rental period, unless a written approval for extension has been granted by Hostel Management.
Prohibited Conduct and Facilities Use
The possession, use, or distribution of illegal items, narcotic substances, or engagement in any criminal or immoral activity—including but not limited to gambling, cultism, and theft—is strictly prohibited and shall result in immediate eviction and may lead to legal prosecution.
All cooking activities must be carried out only in the designated kitchen areas. Cooking in rooms, corridors, balconies, or any unauthorized areas is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate eviction.
The use of unauthorized electrical appliances is prohibited and may result in confiscation, penalties, or further disciplinary action. The use of solar-powered or alternative generating systems is strictly not permitted.
Residents are not permitted to place shoes, slippers, mops, waste bins, or any personal items in corridors, doorways, or common passage areas.
Pouring or discharging water or any liquid from balconies is strictly prohibited and constitutes a serious violation of residence rules.
Room Inspections and Access Rights
Random inspections will be conducted in all rooms to ensure full compliance with all accommodation rules and regulations.Talents Apartments reserves the right, through its authorized representatives, to enter and inspect any residence in the interest of safety, security, and proper conduct. Such entry may occur at any time, with or without the presence of the resident, and without prior notice.
Residents are required to cooperate fully with security personnel, including permitting the inspection of visitors’ luggage when deemed necessary.
Security and Safety Compliance
All doors and gates must be securely locked at all times. Any suspicious or unsafe activity must be reported immediately to management or security personnel.
For fire and safety reasons, the use of candles, microwaves, ovens, electric stoves, boiling rings, or any other unapproved electrical appliances is strictly prohibited within the premises.
Residents are required to switch off all electrical appliances and power outlets when not in use and before leaving their rooms.
Full compliance with all fire, safety, and emergency regulations is mandatory. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in disciplinary action, including penalties or termination of accommodation.
Curfew and Access Policy:
Residents are required to strictly adhere to the official curfew as set by Management. The hostel entrance will be open daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Residents must not return to the hostel after 11:00 PM under any circumstances.
Late arrivals or repeated violations will result in formal warnings. In severe or repeated cases, Management reserves the right to terminate the resident’s accommodation immediately.
Visitor Policy
All visitors must sign in and sign out at the Front Desk during the approved visiting hours: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM on weekdays, and 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM on weekends and public holidays.
Overnight stays by visitors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction. Squatting is not permitted under any circumstances.
Residents must obtain prior written approval from Management before organizing or hosting any social events.
Residents must maintain a quiet and peaceful living environment at all times. Loud music, shouting, or any activity that causes noise disturbance is strictly prohibited, particularly during designated quiet hours. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
Residents are required to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness at all times within their rooms and surrounding areas. All waste must be disposed of only in designated bins. Cooking, laundry, and other domestic activities are strictly prohibited outside designated areas. Dustbins must not be placed in corridors or common walkways.
The disposal of sanitary pads, nylon, paper, or any non-flushable items in toilets is strictly forbidden. Residents must ensure that their rooms and toilet facilities are kept clean, tidy, and sanitary at all times. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
Care of Property and Facilities
All property, furniture, and facilities provided must be used responsibly and with due care. Any damage, defect, or malfunction must be reported immediately to management. Residents who deliberately, recklessly, or negligently cause damage shall be held fully liable for the cost of repair or replacement and may be subject to disciplinary action.
The nailing, drilling, pasting, or fixing of pictures, posters, papers, stickers, or any other materials on walls, doors, or surfaces is strictly prohibited. The drying or spreading of clothes on balconies, doors, or verandas is not permitted, except in areas specifically designated for that purpose.
Resident Conduct:
All residents are required to conduct themselves responsibly and with respect, discipline, politeness, and tolerance toward fellow residents, staff, and visitors at all times. Any form of fighting, bullying, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action, including sanctions where applicable.
Personal Room Items:
Residents are required to provide their own shower curtain, toilet brush, mop handle, dustbin, and parking permit where applicable. Failure to comply with this requirement is not an acceptable excuse for non-compliance with hygiene or facility standards.
